BHLMC New Normal Paper: Looking forward to the Future
Now that the initial peak in COVID-19 has settled, general practice is left operating in a completely new landscape, which is likely to exist for at least the next year or so. However, the large majority of work remains the same, which leaves us looking at what our ‘new normal’ will be.
In order to support practices, we have written a paper which sets out to help focus on areas of general practice life that might need consideration for change, either in capacity, provision or implementation.
We recognise that every practice and partnership is unique, so each will have its own specific challenges to overcome. However, we hope that there will be something in here that will resonate with everyone and will help local general practice to move into the future with confidence.

BAME staff risk assessment
Last week we circulated a couple of risk assessments that have been developed. This week we received another one, which has been received well by the profession so far and which you may wish to consider using. The tool is named after a GP who died of COVID-19 and was developed by a number of his colleagues and friends.
