Due to emigration, we are recruiting for a Partner or Salaried GP to join Toddington Medical Centre. We will consider full or part time.
Toddington Village
Toddington is a friendly village, located near the market towns of Dunstable and Leighton Buzzard. The village has good transport links being close to junction 11A and 12 of the M1 motorway. The locality offers good schooling options. The village is built around a village green with local amenities.
The population of this area reflects a semi-rural location with a mix of age groups with low deprivation.
The Practice
Toddington Medical Centre is a purpose-built GMS surgery constructed in the late 90’s with ample onsite parking. We are extremely fortunate to have country views from the surgery including the clinical rooms. There is an independent pharmacy located onsite.
We thrive on delivering excellent healthcare to our 7625 patients by utilising our forward-thinking and innovative approach to General Practice.
We are always looking for ways to make General Practice enjoyable and rewarding. We have brilliant relationships with our neighbouring Practices and are an active member of our PCN.
Our patients are cared for by a friendly and supportive team which includes 4 GP partners who have worked together for over five years, minor illness nurse, 2 practice nurses and a HCA. We are supported by a Practice Manager, Deputy Practice Manager, an excellent admin and reception team.
There is also support from ARRS staff which includes pharmacy and a wellbeing team.
CQC inspection from September 2021 achieved a rating of good, we are a high QOF achiever, active in minor surgery and a Cambridge University final year teaching practice. We have a low number of visits.
