Salaried GP at a Hitchin Surgery, Hertfordshire

Are we what you have been looking for?

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for you to join the merged teams of Orford Lodge and Courtenay House Surgeries (Bancroft Medical Centre), in the historic market town of Hitchin in Hertfordshire. We are at the heart of a vibrant and diverse community. The position has arisen due to the continued growth of the local area. We are seeking a 8 to 10 session salaried GP (job share) with a view to partnership.

Our practice population at Bancroft Medical Centre is fast approaching 19k patients working across two sites which are located just across the road from each other. We are a friendly team of very supportive GPs who are passionate about upholding high ethos for good patient care, and at the same time we greatly value our creativity and work-life balance. Our refurbished surgery is modern and well-equipped, with excellent practice management, administrative and other support staff and allied nursing and healthcare professionals including highly experienced advance nurse practitioners. Delivering a high performance for Qof and rated Good with CQC.

The practice offers minor surgery, coil and implants to our patients and for another local practice within our PCN.

We are a training/teaching practice with good skill mix and offer ample career and portfolio opportunities for interested GPs. A candidate that is interested in teaching/training would be ideal.
