Bancroft Medical Centre are looking for a Salaried GP.

The team at Bancroft Medical Centre needs a new Salaried GP, following list expansion, who can play a key role in our vibrant, diverse practice. Our team of clinicians includes a broad skill mix, and we are keen to speak to candidates who may be seeking to develop a specialism or a leadership role.

We are a friendly, enthusiastic, and approachable team, so informal enquiries are encouraged, and we would be happy to meet prior to any formal applications. Minimum £10,000 per session with indemnity paid and 6 weeks annual leave, plus pro rata bank holidays and 1 week study leave.

The Surgery:

  • List size approaching 19,000
  • 7 partners and 2 salaried GP’s as well as AHP’s
  • GMS training practice with medical students, F2’s and VTS trainees – participation always welcomed in assisting with this
  • Purpose built premises with parking (2 sites on opposite side of the road, so easy for us all to meet daily)
  • Just off the high street of Hitchin (thriving diverse Hertfordshire market town with fast trains to London and Cambridge)
  • SystmOne
  • Active member of the Hitchin and Whitwell PCN
  • Document coding/ workflow handled by admin team
  • Dispensary located on site
