Would you like to be part of our highly skilled and friendly practice team? Sundon Medical Centre is looking for a Salaried GP to start in July / August, due to retirement of our senior partner.
We are a training practice with a supportive approach to learning and development. Number of sessions flexible. We are a key part of Hatters Health PCN, which has developed new models of care with a growing number of additional roles.
Sundon Medical Centre is a training practice with a list size of 9,300 located in North Luton close to the M1 and Luton & Dunstable Hospital, with excellent transport links. We have a dispensing branch surgery in Harlington Village. The surgery has a long established reputation for high quality patient care. We are a team of 6 Partners, 2 Salaried Drs, 3 nurses, 2 health care assistants, mental health liaison worker and registrar doctors.
In the last two years Hatters Health PCN has expanded our team to include a variety of roles in prescribing, clinical work, health coaching and social support. We have developed an integrated care service to our frail elderly population with care coordinators and a community matron. We provide a tier 3 minor surgery service to Luton, with dermatology expertise. We offer specialist diabetes care, enhanced gynaecology services, lifestyle medicine, respiratory clinics and are high QOF achieving.
We are involved with leadership and redesign opportunities locally. One partner is the clinical director of Hatter Health Network, which is a learning organisation. There are opportunities locally to shape the design of primary care to make workload sustainable and flexible for the future. Luton has a thriving GP community which has worked collaboratively during the pandemic.
